Christian and his new hair

Christian got a haircut last week (May 19, 2003)! I'd been saying forever that he would look damnfine with short hair, and I swear that haircut was my reward for going downstate with my boyfriend where I could actually watch RAW (stupid basic cable).

So, yeah, he won the IC belt, he got a haircut, he had a great little segment with (mmm) Jericho, and then he wrestled shirtless in street clothes. What more could a girl ask for? For all that good behavior, I deemed it Christian week and attempted to draw him until I got a decent one...

Which would be this. He looks a bit like a cross between Christian and Test, and he's in his old outfit because they hadn't unveiled his new one yet... but it was by far the best attempt. Then I decided - hey, let's completely risk the picture by coloring it in a way I've never colored before! So I scribbled all over him with purple pencils. Go me!

Anyhow, Usually when I color I stick to skintones and browns, but this time I tried something different. I did a good job of toning it all back down, but if you look closely he's got a lot of colors in there - purple, blue, orange and yellow, mostly. I was pretty pleased with the end result, especially considering what a huge risk it was for me

Bic .5mm mechanical pencil, Uni-Ball Vision pen, Sharpie marker, Prismacolor watercolor (used waterless) pencils... on cardstock.
