Blast from the past.
I used to draw dragons and griffons all the time as part of the mostly defunct 'Downloadable Dragons' site I started around 1997. I got severely sick of them and haven't been that into fantasy since junior high so... yeah. This is the first griffon I've drawn in *thinks* 5 years? Mine're what I call a songbird griffon, and is more the size of a housecat. Just felt like it today... so I drew it. Ignore the background. I was pretending like I was gonna do one, but I killed myself with the griffon itself and that was that. No idea what made me think doing it black and fully detailed was gonna be a good idea. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
